Aunduin barked and started to sniff around his legs, which made Sarah a tad nervous, “He’s rather excitable, lately,” she narrowed her gaze to the direwolf and then quickly looked up to the man. “Oh yes, it was just him trying to kill me, is all.”
Alistair chuckled and stood, he looked at her “Puppies are like that, they like getting underfoot. He doesn’t look like a mabari hound, what is he?” He gave her a soft smile as he spoke.
Tapping at her lower lip, which was now being bit ever so lightly, the woman looked Aunduin over as his massive paws, even for a small pup, now pawed at the male. With one arm full of provisions, the other was free to reach down toward the animal. A small sound of protest came from the wolf as she pulled him up from his belly. Sarah bounced him a bit so that he was against her chest. “This? Why this little rascal.. is a god.” She sounded rather playful but there was a bit of truth underlying her jest.
“His name is Aunduin, a very curious wolf named Aunduin,” she drew close to the male, allowing the wolf to bark out at him and struggle to be free from her arms, “He has taken a liking to you! However, it is rather strange to see him behave like this, you wouldn’t happen to have any treats on your person, dried meats?” Her eyes were lit with mischief and her grin hardly faltered from her fair visage.
