“Oh!” She saw him start to wander off and hurriedly reached into her purse to pay for the food. She possibly gave him far more than what the food was worth but waved it off as she stepped behind Nathan’s heels. “Deer and wine, sounds like a delightful dinner, I say! Perhaps you can invite your friends, I am sure they would enjoy your company over a decadent feast.”
Nathaniel grinned “I’ll see what I can do then” He picked up a bottle of wine and showed it to her “You like this kind?”
Looking at the bottle, she nodded and then smiled wide at the selection before them, “That is suitable for you, now, what will you have?” Really, she assumed the bottle was all for her, could you blame her? She couldn’t remember the last time she even had spirits. “Maybe I should pick up some vegetables, perhaps make a good, hearty stew.”
