“Well then! You are quite the lucky lad then, I can whip up a mean stew. You would be surprised what recipes are learned when out on the road,” Sarah said it all too proudly while pointing at a bottle from one of the displays, watching how the light of the sun hit it. It was red. Her favorite color. “I will take these back to your home,” Sarah stood on her toes to kiss his cheek before turning away. “Have to get ready for the hunt later on, of course!”
He smiled softly at her and paid the vendor “I’ll see you later then!” He handed her the purchases “I’ve got some more things to do, but I’ll stop by before I go back to Fen’s.”
“Of course! I will be seeing you soon!” She was waving to him as red curls bounced along her shoulders. With a spin of her heel, she started to hum about and glance past her shoulder at him from time to time. Hopefully he got home before the wine was gone. All gone.
