His eye twitched slightly at her statement about him having a secret lover. A sneer wanted to form, a scowl even, as he was already stressed due to his own intentions for the night, but he couldn’t manage one. Instead a smile tugged at the thin line of his mouth and he strode over to the desk, leaning on the front portion with both hands planted on the cool surface.

“Than I am glad you were not stopped!” He retorted lightly, though his face fell at her mention of getting him out of the Circle. Just going from the Gallows to the Docks was a hassle for him and whatever adventure she had in mind was most certainly not a leisurely stroll. He wasn’t sure if he felt flattered at her request or shamed beyond all comprehension.

“I—…you didn’t truly come here, on your own merit, for that did you?”

The maiden could play the part well of a tease, though he already knew her games from just the time spent together. So it was no surprise that she leaned in, eyes glassy and wide, mouth partially open and hungry as her bosom rose and feel with her shallow breaths, “I confess, First Enchanter, I came here because I could no longer ignore the pain tormenting me, for when I left you that cold morning, my heart remained here, within this stuffy office.  I longed to see you, to hear the voice that gave me gooseflesh, to see your hands not on your staff but on me.."

She paused, then smiled wide before regaining her own composure and looking away, "Or maybe, I actually just wanted to see if I really could stroll right in here, surrounded by mages, knowing of the trouble I can find myself in - just to pay you a visit and ask you politely to leave your tower.” Sadly, Sarah was telling him the truth as the smile diminished, replaced with a smirk.

Resting her hands at her lap, she turned her head to the part of the desk where the satchel was, which was close to his hand. “I even brought you something to disguise yourself with, because I don’t think you want to walk around with those robes,” sea-green eyes trailed over his clothing quickly before settling on his features.
