≡ Headcanon: Merlin-verse

Merlin [One AU]:  Sarah’s people were nearly eradicated by those who hunt magic. Since those of her realm practiced freely, openly, they became primary targets for the start of the wars. Fearing the end of his bloodline, the Duke sent his only heir, a summoner, to seek those who can awaken the slumbering serpents that once protected their lands.

Merlin [Second AU]: Before the war, Sarah searched for regions that harbored the spark of magic within them. She wanted to discover others much like herself, to learn from them. However, when learning that Camelot had the prophesied future king and the immortal sorcerer, she took it upon herself to seek them out.
