It was a strange feeling, for her eyes were clouded from viewing these spirits. These eyes of hers, that could look past the layers of human perception, were now shifting erratically as if to search for the source that brought this cup about. “Oh.. ” it was all she could muster while trying not to appear so dumbfounded.“I must seem rather ordinary,” she said with a light chuckle, “I am not some figure head, I hold no extraordinary gifts.” Her arms folded over the counter, “Just a woman who is rather peckish, though I admit, I can say I never had a meal prepared by someone who was I was blind to.”
“You don’t need any of that to be extraordinary you know?” He took a menu from one of the stands holding them, handing it over as he spoke. “Everyone’s got a talent, and from what you’ve said, yours is art.”
“Everything seems delicious!” The menu was scanned and each item on the menu caused her stomach to complain. It didn’t take her long to figure out what she wanted, Sarah was always a sucker for french fries, as a matter of fact, fries with chili and cheese was one of her weaknesses.
“Can the fries come with chili upon request?” Sarah rubbed her finger over the menu option while looking up in his direction. A gentle smile touched her lips, “Yes, though I am an artist, I feel rather out of place in a city of creatures. I can’t really say anything fascinating like ‘I’m a dragon!’ or anything of that sort."
