She smirked playfully when he snagged a few fries from her. But, seeing he was the host, who was she to complain! Sarah shared happily, even pushed forward the bowl so he could eat along with her. “Well, I assume you would have guests soon,” she said after swallowing a rather large amount of chili drizzled fries.An abundant amount of fries were plucked from the bowl with the fork and waved in the air, “I didn’t want to hurry you on out of here is all! I mean .. I.. I didn’t know it was your home. Now I feel bad agreeing for you to take me back to my hotel.” She took another bite and closed her eyes, enjoying her guilty pleasure. “You know,” she covered her mouth while talking and then swallowed before finishing, “I can always call a cab. It is not a problem at all!”
“We have slow nights.” He snagged another couple fries when she pushed the basket over to share. “Place can run itself with the spirits anyway. And you might as well save your money, I’m insisting here.” She got a crooked smile out of him when he said that.
“ All right, all right. I won’t argue about it, just trying to not inconvenience you is all!” Sarah laughed lightly, feeling more comfortable now that she has eaten and enjoyed the friendly company of Rune. With the fries nearly all gone, she took a napkin to her lips and sighed in satisfaction.
“Well then, would you like to leave? I mean, it is getting a little later than I intended to stay out.” The night life, it wasn’t for her. Then again, neither was accepting rides from someone she just met. But, Rune had been cordial and she could really save the money for fare tomorrow.
