Observing the ritual had been as thrilling as their escape out onto the coast, even more so than that in fact, and he was in silent awe as he watched the young woman before him. The energy, the sheer power emitting from her made his own gift throb beneath his skin, sending tingles that coursed up his spine and flared in his finger tips, as if his magic was begging to be used in sync with hers.

When it ended and she stood before him, he hardly had time to ask what she had done before he heard it; the roar. It was faint and barely met his ears but he’d heard it. Fear gripped his heart even if he did not fully process what the sound was, even as Sarah gently held one of his hands, and his eyes left her own to look up in the direction of the sound where his eyes proceeded to widen at the figure that broke the blanket of clouds.

Is that a bloody dragon?!

There was no emotion masking her visage as glowing depths reflected the color of a sea at calm. Coils of scarlet continued their whimsical dance around her freckled cheeks while she inched closer to the First Enchanter and curled her fingers around his own. When the roar grew louder, her own power flared in response. She watched him stare at the heavens, at the creature that would certainly claim their lives - if they did not react quickly.

Languidly, in a lazy fashion, Sarah rolled her eyes to the skies and extended her free arm away from them both. Her fingers spread out and her palm faced the dragon the fiercely cried out at the one that dared to awaken it. The summoner called it forth; it answered obediently. It was on a leash, bound to her command, and when it neared, the level of savagery declined.

Its gaze was a chasm, sucking in their reflections as the pupils dilated for a moment. The scaly hide reflected the touch of moonlight, causing it to glisten while its muscles rippled underneath its monumental frame. Fire threatened to pour from its divorced maw, but embers simply crackled about instead. He stared at Orsino then focused its attention on the woman and wolf adjacent to the older elf.

She concentrated purely on the form as it flew closer and cast its shadow across the cliffs. Its wings blew currents at them, sending her attire to flutter about erratically. Aunduin growled quietly, but stood between Sarah and Orsino as the dragon neared her awaiting hand.
