A scathing reply bubbled in his thoughts at the statement about the dragon’s passiveness, a reply that surely would’ve put a damper on the night should he have voiced it. The only thing that curbed his tongue was when he caught a glimpse of her tired sea-green orbs.

He was confused when her hand went to her mouth, that same confusion snapping and warping into mild anger as she lowered her hand, blood pooled in the cup of her palm. But as he recalled what had brought him out of the confines of the Gallows to begin with this night his anger subsided.

Instead of accusing her of being a blood mage, for she was not, he watched her actions with returned curiosity.

It was done. Once her hand retreated back, she tried to apply pressure to her palm to stop the bleeding from continuing. The dragon licked itself, tasting the blood infused with the summoner’s gift. This blood was a bit of a rarity - thus making it something that the dragon wanted. “Dragons are perhaps the most dangerous of summons,” Sarah said quietly and stepped backwards, staring at the beast who greedily licked its teeth. Its serpentine tongue curled around its maw.

Sarah lifted her chin and drew her hands behind her. In turn, the serpent from the heavens, started to take flight and caused debris to collide against  them. It roared into the air and made her cringe as it resonates easily around the cliffs. The dust made it difficult to breathe, to the point that she had to turn away and cover her mouth with the same bloodied palm.

There was no threat that it would return to haunt them after Sarah released it back, it came for what it wanted. She simply looked past her shoulder, watching the distance grow between them and the dragon as it soared down across the graveyard of ships. With a sweep of its tail it collided with one of the shipwrecked vessels, causing quite a bit of noise.

Aunduin whined and rubbed his head at her thigh in a comforting fashion. He felt her aura’s power subside and feared she exhausted herself. It had been awhile since she called forth a wyvern - seeing them again only made the companion uneasy.

“Are you all right, First Enchanter,” would they have to worry about bandits now? It would be amazing to know if they dared to stick around.
