He did, in fact, greatly enjoy Italian food. The garlic in it was one of his favorite things.
Eventually he showed up, stepping out of his car and going to find her. Dressed in a simple tux this time, rather than his usual black suit and tie. He didn’t quite see her at first until he caught sight of red hair, starting to make his way over. Actually noticing, for once, how much he towered over everyone else.
“Rune?” Yes, he was tall, everyone at the table noticed. She waved her fingers in his direction and stood up to greet him. He looked great, rather sharp! One had to wonder though, where did he shop for his tux? Or was it custom made for him? With the amusing thought, Sarah smiled and nods at his direction.
Her dress was a black number, rather form fitting satin piece that had a shawl to come over her naked shoulders. “Thank you for coming,” she motioned to a seat next to her as the others smiled and nodded at her guest, welcoming him with a lift of wine glasses. Some were still shocked from his height, but soon dismissed as they returned to speaking in groups.
Sarah had a black folder in front of her, which she had slid over to him. It had the two tickets she promised and the sketch. But the sketch was not a profile of a human, but it had scales drawn in along his neck, working its way up his jawline and cheek. His eyes were drawn with intense shadows, dangerously narrowed.
