“I see why he has been so smitten,” Sarah nods and bends down, brushing Aunduin’s neck playfully, Standing up, she laughs lightly as large paws reached for the stranger’s arm. The pup stood on his haunches and panted, eagerly expecting his treat.
Embarrassed, Sarah tried to pry him away, “It is all right if he has some, though a stranger spoiling him is rare,” she smiled at him while both hands tugged at the paws of her companion, “Though you look slightly familiar. I can not peg it yet. I’m Sarah, thank you for being so kind to my friend here.”
Alistair laughed and handed the pup some jerky “Awww who’s a cute puppy! you! You’re a cute puppy!” He grinned broadly and glanced up at her “A pleasure, I’m Alistair, former king of Ferelden, Grey Warden..ETC..”
Aunduin, being the little hungry fiend he was, took a bite of the jerky and nearly swallowed it whole. Sarah cringed, fearing that he would choke on the dried meat. The stranger seems to be friendly enough with him, it was quite the relief considering that the pup made others nervous upon contact.
Feathered lashes lowered and freckled cheeks hinted at a bit of color. “Many apologies, I am afraid I carry no grandiose title,” she whispered quietly, almost guilty that she had not known earlier. “Alistair, Former King and Grey Warden, what is your position now in the world?” Her gaze lifted and she brushed at Aunduin’s head, who was too busy sniffing aroung the man, looking for more treats.
