“I did it rather quickly, I bring my my pencils and sketchbook with me when I travel.” She leaned over and whispered, “I thought you might like it, I hope I captured you well.” Sarah saw the world differently from others, though it was something shameful for her to admit.Straightening herself up, she passes the menu over to him, and points to his empty glass. “Some of them already have placed their orders, I figure I would wait for you. Also, the wine is exquisite, and this is coming from a gal that doesn’t drink much,”
He tried not to chuckle when she she mentioned not drinking much, since he’d seen that first hand. After looking over the menu for a few minutes and picking what he wanted, he poured himself a glass of wine while they waited for the waiter to come back.
“So these are a few of the people who set you up here?” He talked in a bit of a low tone so he didn’t interrupt the others.
Red lips pulled into a wide smile when she noticed he was getting comfortable and even helped himself to the wine. With both hands folded at her lap, she glanced past her shoulder at the people gathered around them. It was a large number of contributors, patrons and hosts. She already had forgotten all their names.
