He was not alone for too long of a period, the elf had ventured out to give her companion some fresh air and allow him to stretch out his limbs. With the torrid temperature assaulting her fair skin, she didn’t think she would linger too long outdoors unless she found a shady area to relax for a short while. That is when she ran into her friend, Nathaniel.Sarah saw him already displayed out under the sun, and from the looks of it, had ventured into the water for a dip. That sounded rather nice, the water would surely alleviate the heat. “Nathan!” She called out with a wave of her hand, since the other was crooked around a small sack.
Aunduin, who had been rather smitten with Nate, started to run toward his direction. The beast was just like the man remembered him the first time - a rather large wolf. Fearing that he would trample over Nathaniel, she nearly lost her own assortment of foods trying to run after him.
Nathaniel held his arms open for the wolf and gave him a hug when he reached in, ruffling his fur gently. He grinned at Sarah and tilted his head “Hello there, rather hot out isn’t it..” He chuckled “The coast is always nice and cool this time of year..”
“The sun is not forgiving on my skin,” she finally made it over to him and noticed just how much Aunduin covered up Nathaniel, it was rather sweet to see him so happy and comfortable with the man. But, the wolf had reason to be - Nate offered them a place to stay temporarily. “But he needed a walk, as you can see, the spell finally wore off - giving him reason to run around a bit.”
Sarah slowly lowered the sack near Nathan’s towel and tried to peel Aunduin away, who was licking uncontrollably along the man’s face. If his visage was not glistening from water earlier, it was now wet from her companion’s tongue.
She had not noticed what he was wearing, or lack thereof until she had been close enough. A small smirk tugged on her lips then, while leaning toward his face. “I wouldn’t know how cool it is, I don’t usually venture out here, especially not for a swim. I don’t have much clothing to begin with.”
