Sarah bit her lip and tried to hide her smile behind her teeth. Looking back up, after he mentioned a hound and cats, Sarah started to chuckle lightly, “A full house! I wish I could have a cat at times, perhaps it wouldn’t try to eat me out of house and home.”
Alistair nodded “I am sure m’lady, he seems to enjoy it.” He tilted his head and chuckled as his arms crossed over his chest “Don’t worry it’s fine. I eat too much of it anyway.” He grinned “Yes! It is rather full but it’s nice and comfortable, like a home should be. Cats are good company to have, but they think they own it all.” He jested.
In another time, she would have fancied a feline companion, but her wolf was sufficient enough. He believed he owned everything as well, especially the food! His chuckling was rather addictive, because she soon found herself doing the same. “Thank you, for your kindness, Alistair. I will make sure that he appreciates every single bite of this!"
With a slow motion, she took the the treats and turned to Aunduin, who barked his own thanks. "Goodness, I can only imagine!” And she certainly could do that; the homes within the alienage didn’t have much to offer - she was not one to know comfort there.
