nathan-howe:

spell-power:

She didn’t know what a lobster was, but assumed that it was something that matched the color of her hair. “Careful,” she whispered and knelt down next to him as fingers ran along Aunduin’s neck, attempting - and failing - to calm him down. Her eyes glimmered with mischief, but she set her gaze downcast to her sack and smiled.

“He always has energy when the spell is lifted - his true form is preferable, of course.” Sarah pulled her arms away from the wolf, who had made himself comfortable next to Nathaniel, ignoring that Sarah was pulling out some dried meats she had saved - a gift from someone she had met.

“Maybe I will try and wade about in the water. I.. I don’t really go swimming much, not out here.” With a tough of red to her cheeks, she cleared her throat, “I don’t have anything to go in the water with to hide my shame.”

Nathaniel smiled and gave Aunduin a gentle pet and glanced at her “Probably hates being that small, they like to run and be free.” He chuckled “Kind of like me, actually..” He looked at her and nodded “That’s all I do really..” He looked embarrassed about something for a moment but it faded quickly.

“Well, you are certainly free,” she gave a small gesture to the small piece of clothing he wore. Digging her hand into the sack, she gathered some fruits, apples, and extended the ruby treat to him. She had not noticed the look of embarrassment, it had faded from her view by the time she glanced up to his features.

“Aunduin enjoys the water, however, perhaps he can join you for a bit of a swim.”
