For a moment, she kept the silence brewing between them. It was cherished, these moments where adrenaline diminished, and nerves were settled. Sarah simply observed him and took in every detail of his features. Where he lacked expression across his visage, Sarah could read it in his gaze. Lips parted to speak her apologies, perhaps it was wise if she did due to the nature of the summon. It was not every day that one came so close to a tyrant of the heavens without having their head bitten off. “I am sorry, First Enchanter.”

With the faintest of touches, in retaliation to the stroke of her hair, Sarah’s hand fell to where his heart would lay in his chest. The other hand, now crusted with dried blood, was pulled away from sight, it was rather ghastly to look at. Feeling the beating of his heart, Sarah’s smirk had faded and concern washed over her face. “We will leave soon, though I want to make sure that you are truly all right, Orsino,” she softened her voice to the effect that it poured from her lips in a honeyed tone. “You are as stiff as a board,” she had been leaning into him and he had yet not become pliant with her weight upon him.

“Were you concerned about me?” Had that been an earlier attempt at comfort? It was not she that had needed it, on the contrary, Sarah thought that her touch would set him at ease. It was then that she pulled back from leaning in to him, finding it far too comfortable regardless on how rigid he was. “Or ..perhaps you enjoyed the rush of power that we shared. The electrifying aura that surrounded us.”

Her eyes closed at the sudden nuzzle against her thigh, coming from Aunduin. “It’s a bit of a thrill, though I meant not to scare you like that,” Sarah confessed in whispers, which were easily carried into the wind from the coast. “But to release such power, to free yourself of such restraints. What other thing could be so .. satisfying. Even when fear stirs in your heart.”

She loved it. The whole event had excited and exhausted her. But, how does she explain that she wanted him to taste freedom as she did. To experience it with her and to cast his worries aside - so that they could steal time away from prying eyes and templar knights.

He listened to her in silence as he regulated his breathing, relaxing when she pulled away from his body. He simply nodded to her words, as though his own escaped him. His eyes closed as he took in several deep breaths, finally calming the rapid beating in his chest and the overall ache of clenched muscles.

“Perhaps I enjoyed it all far more than I thought I would.” He admitted, a short chuckle following his words.

She began to retreat back to the city with a few slow steps so that he took the hint. The hood was tugged at her features as she looked at Aunduin and pointed to the cliffs. He was to stand guard as they returned back to Kirkwall - though they still had plenty of time before the sun would rise. For now, the fog was offering cover at the cliffs as it now rolled in from the sea. Sarah turned to Orsino and extended her hand to him.

“If you desire of me, I can provide you with more summons, though not of a dragon unless you so wish it,” she whispered whilst a smile toyed on her lips. “For now, let’s return you to the Gallows - unless you wish to remain here longer.”
